Firm straw shoes of light sorts of straw. High comfort while wearing. Extremely light. Produced handmade by means of traditional East European caning art. The straw fibers are individually interlaced with each other. This results in an extremely tearproof and pleasant for wearing basic structure of these shoes. Our hand made straw shoes take the individual shape of the foot and become like the second skin already after short period of wearing. Due to the natural airing and the high vapor permeabilty of the basic material the sweat from feet can melt away to any side, thereby the diseases connected with feet fungi are prevented. Due to the great portion of air within the straw the sole of foot is soft enough. This high portion of air within the straw makes a thermal insulating effect in winter or on the cold floor and keeps the feet also on the not heated floor amazingly and equally warm.
In case of imbibition the straw shoes may be simply dried in the air.
In the practice our straw shoes often demonstrated a bactericidal (anti-bacterial), fungicidal (antifungal) and sporicidal influence.
Pass very good for allergics.
Completely compostable, certainly due to their natural protective properties against fungi, bacteria and viruses our straw shoes need significantly longer period for this process.
